Dear Mike,
I'm sorry to read that Bill has
drowned. I've been a longtime fan of the Stickmen and Bill was
always a favorite of mine.
As the freedive community adds
Bill's name to our "Wall" let us never forget that tomorrow
isn't promised to any of us. Treat every breath as if it may be
our last.
God bless you Mike and all the
Stickmen and may He sustain you through this hard time.
Sincerely,

I wandered up on your page and am
definitely impressed. As an old sticker myself from way
back, I have heard of your groups exploits. My group of friends,
Rick Gomez, Leslie Stinson and others have taken our share of
the Gulf’s bounty by the Stick. I will have my friends also
check out your site.
Thanks, Until the Gulf Heals

Hi guys,
Loved the site and associated links. Your fish
species have some similarities to ours in Australia, but different
names. Loved the stories and great photos. My
Spearfishing Club in Sydney is. www.stgeorgespearfishingclub.com so you can also see a few of our guys and photos.
Our new young gun "pup" Michael Takach is predominantly in many
photos, having bagged a number of big fish.....lucky duck.
He lives for diving, whilst most of us have to work for a
living. We have had a few legends of the sport in our club
over the years, so we have a lot of history there. Hope to get over to Mobile one day soon and check
out the diving scene. We pretty much dive offshore reefs,
with the big breath guys heading out to marker buoys etc. for
Dolphin fish and the odd Spanish Mackerel. If you are ever
in OZ, come and visit.
Cheers for now,

I found your link through a MySpace friend's page,

are performing for our service

need you. Thank you for what you continue to do for our country

Mike,
It was nice meeting you guys. Had a great time talking to you both. We would like to
come back down there and have you show
us the "ropes" on how
to do this. I like killing things, so this would be right up my
alley. Hope you
don't have anymore encounters with
sharks, bad for business. Be safe and thanks for putting our drunk asses

Hello Mike,
It was great meeting you and your fellow Stickmen yesterday (5-6-06) at Tacky Jacks
during your weigh-in. It seems we stopped in for a
drink at just the right time. Thank you for the Amberjack and
flounder. We fried
some of it up last night and had a fish feast. Let us know when you
are back in the area. I would love to dive with you guys and
learn the art of stick
fishing.

hope all those exotics are as good to eat as they are fun to stick. Catfish and Walleye

I've been reading your stories and looking at the pictures from your spearfishing adventures

email from your
friends at Underwater Works. I can't say too much in this email, but
I would love for you to get back to me as soon as you can. This is a
very classy adventure show on a major network, I promise you won't be disappointed!
Just shoot me a call or an email ASAP so we can at least talk about it. Shhh, this is super
top-secret. Don't tell anyone about this;
if you're serious
about this, and your name gets out in the press you can't do it.
Can't wait to hear from you!

Mike, I've
heard countless stories (most good ones) of you and your
diving experiences with my brother Rick Pinegar. I've met some of
his diving buddies in the past, and hope the future allows me to
meet you as well. You are a great group of guys. It is easy to see
why Rick is willing to endure the trauma of beach living when he has
friends like you! Thanks for sharing your great pictures with us and
the rest of the world on your website. We could only imagine what
was going on, but between phone conversations with Rick and now your
pictures, everything can be put in proper prospective. The
devastating events that have occurred can be greatly appreciated
when seen through your eyes (pictures). Thanks for allowing us to
see and thus understand the situation that Dauphin Island is facing.
I hope to be able to volunteer when the time is right!! Thanks
again, and keep up the good work! P.S. If you are ever in Memphis,
bring your camera and look me up! Your pictures are so professional.
I have 2 grandsons I would like you to photograph!

Hi Mike: I am on the phone with the star of
your latest picture production. He is the one and only Rick
Pinegar, my wonderful brother. He called to tell me about the
website. The pictures are worthy of a magazine cover.
You did a beautiful job. Some of them brought tears to my
eyes, especially the one of Rick feeding the seagulls. This is
one of my favorite things to do with him. The picture is
remarkably good. Thank you for sharing these with all.
Look forward to meeting you on my next trip down there.

Hey Mike!
Congratulations on your big catch! A world record is something to
definitely be proud of! That was a big fish too! I hope everything
is going great for you and mom! Kenny made the All-Star team, so
they are going to be playing the All-Star games at Hank Aaron
Stadium. The dates are July 12, 13, & 14. His dad is coming in
town to stay at our house---pray for me! I would love for you and
mom to come to at least one game. It will be fun, you can watch
Kenny pitch and get to know his dad. We had some engagement pictures
made and I will have them back by then, so you and mom can pick out
which ones you want. Well, I gotta get back to work. Talk to
you later!
